The ComedySportz Theatre celebrates their copper anniversary by inviting neighboring comedy theaters to get on stage and play in their main stage show “ComedySportz.” “This is the third time we’ve hosted the Chicago Comedy Theater Challenge,” says Managing Director Greg Werstler. “The Challenge shows were so fun that we made them our anniversary weekend event this year.” Comedy theaters scheduled to appear are iO, pH Productions, Chemically Imbalanced Comedy and The Playground. “Every theater has loyal fans and they come out to laugh and cheer their ensemble members on,” adds Werstler. “There’s a real positive and funny vibe in our space every time we host Chicago Comedy Theater Challenge.” 
CIC is sending three of our best short form performers. Sean Keith, Mike Johnson, and Eric Bays. They will go head to head with ComedySportz home team as they battle for bragging rights.
