Chemically Imbalanced Comedy is pleased to announce our Hit Improv show will be mounted in our New Theater Space starting in January. 

Bad Review takes the worst Theatrical Review from the Chicago Reader and we Improvise the show we feel the Critic would rather see.  Bad Review has been performed at the Toronto Improv Festival, LA Improv Festival, Chicago’s Looptopia at the Chase Auditorium, Second City’s Donny Skybox, and The Lakeshore Theater.

For $50 per person you can purchase a Season Pass to all of our shows for the Jan 2008-May 2007. This pass would get you into Saturday Night Showcases ($10 full price ticket 52 shows in 2008), Our Main Stage Show ($15 full price ticket 18 shows in 20078) as many times as you would like to attend until May 31, 2008. CIC is proud to present this limited engagement with our dear old friends of Pimprov.

Pimprov creator Marz Timms said “CIC is as close to a home theater as Pimprov has, and looks forward to another great season of quality shows. CIC is a class company waiting to explode.”

Opening for Pimprov is the Marz and Keith show, Hilarious Sketch Comedy from two of Pimprov’s creators.  This is one of the most popular Improv groups to ever grace our stages, purchasing your tickets in advance is highly recommended for this show!

We are excited to feature two Improvisational groups made up of seasoned performers from Second City, The Annoyance, IO, pH Productions, The Playground and Chemically Imbalanced Comedy. 

Tha Weave has performed with CIC for the past Three years as a Headlining Troupe in our Comedy Showcase.  The Cast includes Tim Baltz (Annoyance Company Member, pH Company Member, Second City Touring Company Member, IO Troupe Member of Bullet Lounge), Barry Hite (Annoyance Company Member, pH Company Member, Improvised Shakespeare Cast member at IO),  and Clayton Duba (pH Company Member, and The Senate Troupe Member at The Playground).  Tha Weave has performed their Three person show in the CIC showcase, The Annoyance Theater, and at the Del Close Marathon at the UCB Theater in NYC.

21st Century Men have performed with CIC for the past year and a half as a Headlining Troupe in our Comedy Showcase.  The Cast includes Farrell Walsh (Artistic Director of Chemically Imbalanced Comedy and Troupe member of Revolver at IO), George McAuliffe (Annoyance Company Member, and Troupe member of Revolver at IO), and Rob White (cast member of Our Feature Presentation at IO, and Troupe Member of Revolver at IO).  21st Century men recently enjoyed a run at the IO Theater in Chicago.
